Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 11, 2026
1. Introduction
Flightdeck Inc. ("we", "us", "our") operates the Flightdeck platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our Service.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you join a workspace, we store your membership and role within that workspace.
Business Data You Connect
You connect third-party systems (CRMs, ERPs, payment processors, accounting software, etc.) to the Service. We access and process the data from these systems as you direct, to provide data integration, transformation, and operational features. This data may include customer records, transactions, invoices, contacts, and other business information.
Usage Data
We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, queries run, and timestamps. This helps us improve the product and troubleshoot issues.
Technical Data
We automatically collect IP addresses, browser type, device information, and operating system when you access the Service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Authenticate users and manage workspace access
- Sync, transform, and store business data as you direct
- Send transactional communications (account verification, security alerts)
- Monitor and prevent security threats and abuse
- Provide customer support
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Data Storage and Security
Business data is stored in isolated, per-workspace databases. Each workspace's data is logically separated at the database level. Credentials for connected systems are encrypted at rest.
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted credential storage, and access controls. Our infrastructure runs on Google Cloud Platform with data stored in the United States.
5. Third-Party Integrations
When you connect a third-party service (such as Salesforce, QuickBooks, HubSpot, or Shopify), we use OAuth tokens or API credentials you authorize to access data from those services. We access only the data scopes you authorize and use it solely to provide the Service.
We do not sell, rent, or share your third-party data with other parties. Each integration's data is accessible only within your workspace.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information and business data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account or a workspace, we will delete associated data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
You can disconnect integrations at any time, which stops data syncing. Previously synced data remains in your workspace until you delete it or the workspace.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information or business data. We may share information with:
- Service providers who assist in operating the Service (cloud hosting, email delivery), bound by confidentiality agreements
- Legal authorities when required by law, subpoena, or court order
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with prior notice
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@getflightdeck.io. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Cookies
We use session cookies to authenticate users and maintain login state. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
11. International Data Transfers
Your data is stored and processed in the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States. We take appropriate safeguards to protect your data in accordance with this policy.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
